Envolve Clothing is a for-profit company. However, 20% of each sale is donated to Project Envolution, a non-profit organization established to help finance, develop, and implement environmental service projects.

How does my purchase help the environment?

By purchasing our clothing you are supporting a product that been manufactured by socially responsible companies that make an effort to minimize the impact on the environment.

Please explain the phrase “local wear for the environmentally aware”?

As Envolve Clothing grows, we will begin to introduce clothing lines that focus on different communities around the nation. Local artists from these communities will design the clothing and be featured on our page. Join our mailing list to be notified of our first locale line launch.

Why isn’t my organization featured on your website?

Does your clothing require special care?

The organic cotton, bamboo, and hemp fabrics used in our clothing are very delicate compared to non-organic clothing. Please follow the care instructions provided on the shirt for best results. For detailed care instructions please click here.

What is organic cotton?

By definition, it is cotton that is grown, harvested and processed without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides. In addition, Certified Organic Cotton is free from genetically modified organisms (GMO) material, radiation or other artificial intervention.

What makes bamboo and hemp so special?

Bamboo’s smooth and round structure of its fibers give bamboo clothing its soft and non-irritating feel, even to sensitive skin. Hemp on the other hand softens with each washing. It is said that “hemp doesn’t wear out, it wears in.” Please visit our ‘About Us-The Clothing’ page for more information.

Are any chemicals used in the screenprinting process?

The simple answer is yes. More specifically, in one process of the printing called discharging. When printing any water based inks on dark fabrics, the process of discharging the fabric is needed to remove the dyes so the ink may be absorbed by the material. One of the chemicals used in this process bleach, albeit a very small amount. Bleach being one of the more reactive chemicals, is stored properly and used in a controlled environment.

Where are your clothes made?

Our clothes are made in various areas to ensure the best fibers are used. We’ve worked hard to ensure our partners in manufacturing share our values and provide a good workplace for all employees. We place an emphasis on working with people we trust. All overseas factories are third-party audited using the BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative) Monitoring system, which is based on the labor standards of the International Labor Organization (ILO). How does Google Checkout work?

At Envolve Clothing we use Google Checkout to manage our online store. All transactions are privately and securely processed (for a detailed description of our privacy and security policies please click here). After you have completed your purchase you will receive an email that includes your purchase information (a receipt) and a link that allows you to check the status of your order. Once your order has been shipped you will receive an additional email that allows you to track your order. If you have any questions or concerns regarding our checkout process please let us know.

What is your return policy?

Envolve Clothing accepts exchanges and returns within and up to 30 days of purchase.

Why do you only ship on Tuesdays?

In an effort to minimize environmental shipping concerns we have simplified the process by shipping all orders once a week. If your order requires expedited shipping please contact us.

What about international orders?

We welcome all international orders and will ship anywhere across the globe that is accessible by UPS. Additional shipping charges may apply. If your shipment requires special attention please contact us immediately.
